Use your courage and creativity to make your own inspirational dot. Create a circle design with a positive image on the front and an encouraging message on the back.

Dots will be displayed in our art mural from September 11th to September 30th.

Looking for a little puppy love and stress relief? Join us at the library on every first Wednesday and third Saturday of each month for a special visit from the therapy dogs of K9 TheraPets of Hawaii! These gentle, furry friends are eager to hear a story and help promote reading while bringing smiles and calm to readers of all ages. All children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver. Events will not be held on State holidays.

We will be playing in teams of two to five people. If you would like to come with a team already created, feel free! If not, you can join teams once you arrive.

Refreshments will be served. Prizes will be awarded.

September is World Alzheimer’s Month. Join author and family coach, Karen K.C. Gibson as she shares her mother’s Alzheimer’s journey and the lessons she learned through the art of letting go.  Gibson is the author of My Mom’s Alzheimer’s Journey from Tokyo to Honolulu to Oblivion.
