Welcome to the Mānoa Public Library! Designed by architect Gary Kawakami of Architecture Plus, Inc., and built by Allied Pacific Builders on the site of the original library, our $10.3 million replacement library opened on June 9, 2012. Our environmentally-friendly library features free Wi-Fi, computer laptop area, separate programming room, photovoltaic solar panels, high-efficiency air-conditioning system, and covered parking for cars and bicycles. In 2013, Mānoa Public Library was awarded the prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certification.

It’s time for the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge! To celebrate our midpoint, we are hosting a mini-games fair!
