Caregiving: How to know when you need more help

March 20, 2024 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

A female adult providing care to a wheelchair-bound female senior citizen

Navigating the journey of caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or related dementias can be challenging, especially when considering the addition of external support to your care team. This program aims to explore essential services that may become vital as your loved one advances through the various stages of the disease. Representatives from Regency at Puakea Memory Care, Kauai Hospice and Kauai Adult Day Health will be on hand.

Part of the Listen and Learn lecture series.

Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required. All programs are subject to change.
