Drop by anytime from 1pm – 3pm at our meeting room for readings and activities by Red Cross Club members from Maryknoll about emergency/disaster preparedness and energy conservation.
This program aims to help children develop the skills and confidence they may need in an emergency.
Disasters often strike quickly and without warning. They are frightening for adults, and can be traumatic for children. Your family may have to leave home and change your daily routine. Be prepared to give your children guidance that will help reduce their fears.
Preparedness starts with each one of us taking steps to stay safe before, during, and after disasters or emergencies. By setting aside the time and resources to be prepared at home, you can help keep you family safer – and help keep emergency responders safer, too!
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By visiting and/or participating in library programming, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. Please help keep each other healthy.
If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all request for accommodations. All programs are subject to change.
