Jana Bogs holds degrees in nutrition and horticulture and founded Beyond Organics Consulting, Inc. here in Hawai’i. She studies the relationship between soil nutrition and the nutritional content of the resulting food. In this way she helps farmers and gardeners grow better quality food. She will talk about ways to test your soil for essential nutrients and to measure the nutritional value of your crops.
