Kauai “Live Poets’ Society” Upcoming Meeting

ALL POETS & POETRY LOVERS INVITED!
The Live Poets’ Society members celebrate the 1 year anniversary of their formation at the August 5th meeting. A student poem contest and Fall reading will be planned, details TBA.
Haibun style, combining prose & haiku will be the “prompt” for this month’s meeting. (See M. Chula’s “Guidelines for Writing Haibun” online, or ask your friendly librarian for help.) Please bring to the August meeting 10-12 copies of your poem to share and writing materials.
The Kauai “Live Poets’ Society” is a free gathering of poets and poetry lovers to improve their poetry writing and reading. To enjoy poetry together. The group meets monthly at Lihue Library under the guidance of Kauai poet and author, Dawn Fraser Kawahara, DBA TropicBird Press, and in partnership with Lihue Library.
Please come and join us.
