December 5, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Surfrider Foundation Kauai logo

Barbara Wiedner of the Surfrider Foundation Kauaʻi Chapter will provide information on the impact of marine debris and plastic pollution in our oceans.

Marine debris harms wildlife habitats, is ingested by a multitude of animals, facilitates the spread of invasive species and can cause serious navigational hazards. This program will provide patrons with the information they need to help combat this worldwide problem.

All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date. This program is provided by the Surfrider Foundation Kauaʻi Chapter and the Friends of the North Shore Library at Princeville.
