Kahuku Library will screen new releases for your viewing pleasure.

On January 10th, we will screen The Banshees of Insiherin (R).

In the remote town of Inishmore, Padraic and Colm share a close, intimate bond of friendship that spans their lives. Yet when one of the men brings their lifelong bond to a swift, abrupt end, the other reels, questioning their decades of friendship and his own identity in the process. This 2022 film won several awards and includes the following cast Brendan Gleeson, Colin Farrell, Kerry Condon, Barry Keoghan, Pat Shortt. It is 109 minutes long. 

On January 17th, we will screen Amsterdam (R).

In the 1930s, Burt, Valerie, and Harold are three friends who endure a life-altering turn of events. Upon witnessing a grisly murder, the trio unwittingly finds itself as the prime suspects in the case, inspiring them to find the true murderer before they find themselves behind bars. This 2022 film has a star-studded cast which includes Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Chris Rock, Alessandro Nivola. It is 134 minutes long.
