Painted Trees of Hawaii

Painted trees

Photographer Kelly Dunn has preserved in time the strikingly beautiful Eucalyptus Deglupta trees of Hawai’i. These trees which are particular to the Aloha State reveal a stunning palette of color as they naturally shed their bark. While the iconic images will live forever, the trees are under threat. a surprisingly deep appreciation of the beauty he witnessed transpired, Kelly shares his deep appreciation of these remarkable trees in an effort to preserve them. His lecture covers the history of the tree, it’s current status, and the future of the Painted Trees. Mr. Dunn’s art prints will be on display and framable quality small card-stock images will be given away.
