Stories from My Island Home with Aunty Nyla

Storyteller Nyla Fujii-Babb

Storyteller “Aunty Nyla” Fujii-Babb will celebrate our islands’ cultural roots with wonderful stories about Native Hawaiians, Pacific Islanders, and Asian folklore. Born and raised in Hawaii, Aunty Nyla has been a storyteller, children’s librarian, actress, voice-over talent, and producer for over 30 years.

This 45-minute program is suitable for ages 3 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

This program is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with funding provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
