Teens ages 13+ are invited to attend a fair to learn about volunteer opportunities during the summer and throughout the year. Chat with representatives from the following community organizations:
Aloha Harvest, Hawai’i State Parks, Hawaiian Humane Society, Mālama Loko Ea Foundation, Mililani Public Library’s Summer Reading Program, Mothers Against Drunk Driving Hawai’i, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, The Queen’s Medical Center West O’ahu, and YMCA of Honolulu – Mililani Branch.
Celebrate National Volunteer Month by learning about volunteer opportunities, and start making plans for your summer! Most of these opportunities are located in Central and West O’ahu areas and are for those who will be 14 or older by the time of volunteering.
Registration is recommended, as space is limited. RSVP through the online form below or by calling Mililani Public Library at 808-627-7470. Walk-ins may be admitted if space is available.
Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service for effective communication, or a modification of policies or procedures to participate in a program, service, or activity should contact library staff as soon as possible. Advance requests 48 hours or more before the event are encouraged, but not required.
All programs are subject to change or cancellation without notice.
