April is Tsunami Awareness Month. Hilo Public Library is hosting events to promote tsunami awareness!

On April 2, 5:30 PM, the Pacific Tsunami Museum will give a 30 minute presentation about the science of tsunamis along with the impacts they have had here in Hawaii, focusing mainly here in Hilo. There will be time for questions after the presentation.

 An informational table will be set up at the library where patrons can come ask tsunami questions or ask for more information on the Museum. Table dates: April 16th, 24th, and 30th from 5:00- 6:00 PM.
