The Kailua-Kona Public Library will present an opportunity to show your appreciation for our local veterans. Ms. Jen will share a story about Moina Belle Michael’s effort to honor war veterans, followed by mahalo card crafting with Ms. Jen and Ms. Penny. Cards created will be sent to the residents of the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo, Hawai’i. Our card creation goal is 90 cards; join us and help us meet our goal.

This one-hour program is suitable for ages 5 & up. Children must be accompanied by a parent or an adult caregiver.

Program schedule is subject to change. Contact the library 15 days in advance to request a sign language interpreter or other special accommodations.
