North Kohala Public Library welcomes Kohala’s very own, John Keawe, for a special concert on April 18 at 3:00 pm. The Grammy and multiple Na Hoku Hanohano award winning slack-key (Kī Hōʻalu) guitarist, composer and recording artist will play music that is infused with the spirit of Aloha and is reflective of many elements personal to him. John has recorded several albums, bringing Hawaiian slack-key into the homes of people from around the world.
This free program is suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
