Silly Children’s Stories with Jeff Gere

Storyteller Jeff Gere

Storyteller Jeff Gere will share silly stories, participatory stories, and possibly a slightly spooky story. This free 45-minute program is suitable for ages 3 and up. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Jeff blends his talents as painter, puppeteer, and mime into performances which have electrified audiences in Hawaii for over 25 years. He founded and produced Talk Story Festival (Hawaii’s largest storytelling celebration) as well as Story TV and Talk Story Radio. He has taught Storytelling at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and has told stories around the world!

This program is a production of the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Outreach College Statewide Cultural Extension Program with funding provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
