International Day of Peace

Day of Peace

Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace. Please join us!

1:30 – 2:00 Peace Stories with Aunty Betsy (for ages 5+)

2:00 – 3:00 Make origami peace cranes and origami peace puppies

3:00 – 4:00 Presentation and talk story with Stephen Miwa, whose father is an A-bomb survivor,  and Tom Coffman, who wrote the book Tadaima! about the Miwa family.
