Welcome to the Nānākuli Public Library! The new Nānākuli Public Library is located at 89-070 Farrington Highway on a 3-acre site next to Nānāikapono Elementary School. Designed by architect Glenn Miura of CDS International, the library serves the communities of Nānākuli and Māili and features a Hawaiian village theme with meeting rooms and a separate outdoor program area. The new library officially opened its doors on April 14, 2018.

Keiki and their ʻohana are invited to join us for our weekly storytime. During storytime, we’ll dive into captivating books, sing songs, dance, and enjoy literacy-based activities. Storytime will end with a make and take craft. This program is suitable for children ages 0-5 and their adult caregivers.

Learn about resources, ask questions, and get helpful tips to learn more about your family history. Join our librarian once a month for a short 10-15min resource highlight and then use our library computers or your own device to work on your personal genealogy research.
