Celebrate the Great American Read (G.A.R.) by watching a movie with us!  A FREE movie will be shown the 3rd Wednesday of the month, from August to October.  Start time is 5:00 p.m. in the Auditorium.  Outside food & drinks are allowed.  Light snacks are provided, while supplies last.  Limit: 14, 1st come, 1st served.

Program is suitable for those 13 yrs. and up, except for the Oct. 17 R movie, where only those 18 yrs. and older will be allowed.  Movies were chosen via a book publication’s anniversary date.  The movie titles are:

• Sep. 19: The Hunger Games (2012) – PG-13
  • 10th anniversary of publication
• Oct. 17: Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1994) – R [only 18 yrs. +]
  • 200th anniversary of publication
