Birds in the ‘Hood

January 22, 2020 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Woman looking up at an albatross while holding a book

We see many different kinds of birds on Kauaʻi.

Which ones are native, which ones are introduced? Which are helpful, and which are damaging? Which are doing just fine, and which need more protection? Should you put out a feeder for them? Why do they matter?

Join Hob Osterlund, Founder of the Kauaʻi Albatross Network, author of Holy Mōlī and producer of the short documentary “Kalama’s Journey”, for a lively conversation about our feathered friends.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change. For a list of upcoming library events, visit www.librarieshawaii.org/events
