Folk Art of Chinese Paper Cutting

Chinese craft artist Barbara Chung Ho

Craft expert Barbara Chung Ho will provide an interactive and customized workshop on the folk art of Chinese paper cutting. She will demonstrate and offer a brief history of the special art. This 90-minute program is suitable for ages 8 and older. Children must be accompanied by a parent of caregiver. Program size is limited to only twenty (20) participants. RSVP required. This is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with additional funding and support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii.
