Brian Nakasone and Kathy Fraser are songwriters who believe in creating music with substance.  Brian’s “Sunrise on Mauna Kea” was featured in the documentary The Hawaiian Horse Whisperer filmed on the Big Island. Both musicians perform regularly in the community on slack/slap key guitar and cello, as well as with other artists.  Together, their music has been described as heartfelt and emotionally engaging.  This performance is made available through a generous grant from the Friends of the Libraries, Kona.
