After the morning fun with Mr. Kneel, older kids can learn how to tell their own stories by beatboxing with Mr. Kneel! Mr. Kneel is a professional speaker, Hip-Hop emcee, beatboxer, and goofball. He creates inspired original Hip-Hop music that assists educators & parents in promoting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

This free 45-minute program is for middle schoolers and older, but also suitable for all ages. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library of Hawai‘i and the 2019 Summer Reading Sponsors. This program is a production of the University of Hawaii at Manoa Outreach College’s Statewide Cultural Extension Program with funding and support provided by the National Endowment for the Arts, Hawaii State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days prior to the program date. We will make every attempt to fulfill all requests for accommodations. All programs are subject to change.
