Ramana Vieira, an American Fado singer, will present a one-hour music program. Called a “rising star in World Music” by the San Francisco Examiner, Ramana has solidified her place as an artist who understands the tradition of fado and yet continues to creatively construct a path into the future by combining new musical textures and compositions. She has headlined various national and international Portuguese festivals.

This program is sponsored by the Maui Friends of the Library and is suitable for ages 12 and older.
