Get ready, Hawai‘i! Comic Book Day is happening on Saturday, May 2 at participating libraries across O‘ahu, Hawai‘i Island, Kaua‘i, and Maui!
Grab your FREE comic and dive into a world of epic stories — but hurry, supplies are limited and available while they last! Comic titles may vary.
Select libraries will also have costume character appearances. Schedules are being finalized–call a participating location for availability or details.

ALERT | Libraries will observe the Independence Day holiday July 3–5, 2026. Most libraries will be closed Friday, July 3; however, ʻAiea, ʻĀina Haina, Hanapēpē, Hawai‘i Kai, Hilo, Kahului, Kailua-Kona, Kīhei, Liliha, Makawao, McCully-Mōʻiliʻili, Princeville, Thelma Parker, Wahiawā, Waialua, Waimānalo, Waikīkī-Kapahulu, and Waipahu will be open July 3 and closed Saturday, July 4.
