HOLIDAY CLOSURE | In observance of General Election Day, all public libraries will be closed on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE | In observance of Veterans Day, all public libraries will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE | In observance of Thanksgiving Day, all public libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 26, 2026.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE | In observance of Christmas Day, all public libraries will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2026.

ALERT #1 | All libraries on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i Island, Lāna‘i, Maui, and Moloka‘i will be open on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Per Governor Josh Green’s directive, all Kaua‘i libraries will remain closed through Friday, September 11. Please check our website for reopening announcements and the latest service updates.
