The Waimea Ocean Film Festival will present special family screenings of David Attenborough’s Natural History Museum. The screenings, which are free and open to the public, are part of Thelma Parker Library’s NASA@My Library initiative to enchance STEM learning opportunities for public audiences nationwide with the excitement of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) exploration and discovery.
In a special collaboration with experts and curators from the museum, and using groundbreaking CGI technology, David Attenborough explores the Natural History Museum in London, after dark, when the exhibitions come to life. As night falls, Attenborough meets the extinct creatures that fascinate him the most, as they magically come alive; dinosaurs, ice age beasts, and giant reptiles.
