Honolulu Theatre for Youth's Trash and Treasure logo

Honolulu Theatre for Youth's circular logoOne person’s trash is another’s treasure. This interactive adventure explores the world of trash from garbage trucks, to the tiny “treasures” that fill our pockets. Music and magic pepper this exploration of how no resource or opportunity should be wasted in the life cycle of “stuff.” The 30-minute performance will be held in the Edna Allyn Room for Children. Suitable for ages 3 and older. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.

This free children’s theatre show was created with funding from the City & County of Honolulu, Department of Environmental Services.  Library performances are funded by the Samuel N. & Mary Castle Foundation  and the Sidney Stern Memorial Trust.

All programs are subject to change. If you require an auxiliary aid or accommodation due to a disability, please contact the library at least 7 days before the program date.
