Three shakuhachi players from NOISE (New Oahu Island Shakuhachi Ensemble) will offer a free one-hour concert in the library’s front lobby. They will play Japanese Minyo (folk song), Modern Minyo, Honkyoku (traditional Zen meditation piece) and several more in duet or trio. Some pieces are accompanied by guitar.
