Happy Summer Readers

We Love Summer Reading!

As parents, we really enjoy participating in the Summer Reading Program because we know our children enjoy learning how to solve problems through stories and funny characters and can’t wait to find out what happens next!

We love that our children are working on their reading skills while relaxing with a good book. And having the program online makes it easier to log and track progress!

HOLIDAY CLOSURE | In observance of Veterans Day, all public libraries will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE | In observance of Thanksgiving Day, all public libraries will be closed on Thursday, November 26, 2026.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE | In observance of Christmas Day, all public libraries will be closed on Friday, December 25, 2026.

ALERT | In accordance with Governor Josh Green’s directive, all public libraries and offices on Kaua‘i and O‘ahu will be closed Tuesday, September 8, 2026, due to the impacts of Hurricane Lowell. On Wednesday, September 9, all libraries on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i Island, Lāna‘i, Maui, and Moloka‘i will be open. Per Governor Green’s directive, all Kaua‘i libraries will remain closed through Friday, September 11. Please check our website for reopening announcements and the latest service updates.
